HYBRID SYSTEM WITH BACKUP

Modern hybrid systems combine solar and battery storage in one and are now available in many different forms and configurations. Systems that are already connected to the electricity grid can start taking advantage of battery storage as well. This means being able to store solar energy that is generated during the day and using it at night. When the stored energy is depleted, the grid is there as a back up, allowing consumers to have the best of both worlds. Hybrid systems are also able to charge the batteries using off-peak electricity.

Components of a Hybrid Solar system:

1. PV Cells with PV Racking System.

2. AC and DC Combiner Boxes.

3. AC and DC cables.

4. Hy-brid Inverter.

5. Charge Controller (mostly built-in in inverter).

6. Battery Bank With Stand.

7. Net-Metering.

8. Safety switches and cabling.

9. Lighting Arrester (Optional).

10. Grounding /Earthing (Optional).
